Dear Homophobes,

Did you know that sexuality is set in your DNA? Meaning that you're born with it.

Do you know how much it hurts to hear names be called toward you about you just being you?

Is it that horrible to be different?

Do you hate everyone that's different?

Do you have blue eyes and hate someone with green eyes just because they're different in eye colour?

Do you hate me for telling you this? Fine.

I am a female, and I am in love with another female.

So, if it makes you feel so much better call me "gay", "fag", "queer", "homo" and what ever else you can come up with.

It's not going to change who I am.
It's not going to make me straight.
It's not going to change the fact that not everyone is like you.
So bring it on.

Love,

This is all you homophobes out there. I'm sick of all the hate people feel toward them.

- stop saying "gay" when you really mean stupid
- stop calling people rude names just because they're different
- just stop all the hate

Please. Does it really make you feel better to say that?

Actually there is no conclusive proof that homosexuality is either "born that way" or "unchangeable".  There is nothing in the definition of "phobia" that states "disagreeing with" applies, either.  But I totally agree with you, no one should be hated because they are gay, or because they speak out against it.  Hate is wrong on both sides of the fence.  Thanks for the post!
